My Vision Statement

As a leader, I honor forgiveness, straightforwardness, and honesty while constantly striving to stay humble, encourage dialog, and lead with love. I aim to constantly expand the abilities of my heart, head, hands, and soul through life's trials, travels, and exploration. My goal is to stretch my roots deep, my branches high, and my heart wide.

Associate Director, Internships & External Relations

  • Leads career development programming for Whitworth School of Business Students

  • Manages strategic partnerships with the business community to cultivate experiential learning opportunities, internships, and career outcomes

  • Develops and manages public relations strategy and internal/external-facing Whitworth School of Business communications, including annual Dean's Review publication, website stories, social media, etc.

  • Conducts research, tracks, and evaluates data

  • Manages annual events and experiential learning programming

  • Administers funding program to compensate unpaid internships with non-profits and startups to generate additional internship opportunities

  • Serves on a variety of committees, organizations, boards, and councils to represent the School and/or university

Assistant Director of Admissions

  • Promoted to Assistant Director of Admissions 

  • Assist with the development and implementation of a strategic enrollment management plan for the School of Law 

  • Develop and implement recruitment events for prospective students, which include but are not limited to: law fairs, law forums, and educational events in targeted market areas 

  • Create and facilitate recruitment schedule for the School of Law 

  • Represent the School of Law at in-person or virtual law school fairs and other recruitment events nationwide, including strategic travel 

  • Responsible for coordinating and overseeing all prospective student visits for the law school as well as all prospective student events, including the Admitted Student Open House Day and the Pre-Law Day 

  • Create and manage visit scheduling system in CRM system (Slate) 

  • Counsel students throughout the law school admission process 

  • Select, train, and supervises a group of approximately 10 Student Ambassadors 

  • Responsible for extensive email and phone follow-up with prospective students 

  • Use independent judgment to effectively analyze applications of prospective students for admissibility 

  • Evaluate applications and make admission decisions on behalf of the School of Law 

  • Maintain relationships with post-secondary school officials, particularly Pre-Law Advisors 

  • Assist with admissions processing and records coordination 

  • Maintain CRM (Slate) and related business systems 

  • Participate in the overall planning and strategic marketing efforts of the Admissions department 

  • Conduct oneself professionally, recognizing the inherent dignity of all individuals 

  • Promote professionalism with colleagues 

  • Work collaboratively with university partners to promote inclusion and support a diverse group of students, recognizing each person's unique needs

Program Assistant III (Slate System Administrator) 

Previous Title: Program Assistant III 

  • Promoted to Program Assistant III (Slate System Administrator) in December 2020 due to increased responsibilities and training within the CRM Slate

  • Responsible for implementation of new Customer Relations Management (CRM) system – Slate – for Gonzaga University School of Law

  • Provides Slate training for all necessary law school employees

  • Manages the CRM Slate’s design, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting for the entire law school

  • Manages the Admissions process operations and supervises the communication plan for the Admissions office, including communication with prospective, applied, and admitted students

  • Plans, manages registration for, and attends special recruitment events such as prospective and admitted student open house events

  • Responsible for complex electronic imports and exports of electronic data using Admissions Communication Exchange Service (ACES2) via the Law School Admissions Council

  • Responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and ensuring data accuracy of complex database systems including:  Slate, ACES2, Mongoose (Cadence), and Banner

  • Supervises and directs the daily work of work study employees and oversees basic office functions, such as answering phones, directing calls, greeting guests, and manages the admissions office calendar

  • Generates weekly status reports for Financial Aid Services and Registrar’s Office

  • Provides administrative support for the Interim Director of Admissions

  • Recruits prospective students at graduate and law school fairs around the nation

  • Manages print material for Admissions, including project managing the Marketing department creation of recruitment and acceptance materials and printing of these materials

  • Project Manager for the Admissions Social Media pages, including Facebook and Instagram

  • Orders giveaways and swag for office

  • Helped organize Office redesign, including assisting with picking new office furniture, paint colors, and coordinating with the various parties involved in the process

  • systems including:  Slate, ACES2, Mongoose (Cadence), DataTransfer, and Banner

  • Supervises and directs the daily work of work study employees and oversees basic office functions, such as answering phones, directing calls, greeting guests, and manages the admissions office calendar
